Looking Back: NWA Fashion Week, Part 2

Last month I fulfilled one of my personal dreams. I got to design, create and show some of my own pieces during NWA Fashion Week. Five of my designs went down the runway for the Art Amiss fashion show on March 14th and it was such an awesome experience. The show went really well and we all had lots of fun in the process. Last month Good Things Boutique had the awesome opportunity to collaborate with Terra Tots for their kids fashion show during NWA Fashion Week. We dressed the mom’s and dad’s that went down the runway with their stylish kids and babies in tow. It really was a good time (hopefully had by all!) and I was extremely pleased with how smoothly everything went. As you can imagine, it was no small accomplishment organizing lots of children, babies and their parents and sending everyone down the runway with perfect hair, make-up and accessories without any noticeable issues! Here is a little peak at the lovely models we had the honor to work with. Please excuse the less-than stellar photo quality, taken with my phone.

It is always exciting opening a new package from Indigenous Designs. They never disappoint on style, workmanship, and most importantly, fabric quality. Soft, luxurious, and wearable are words that comes to mind as I review each piece. You can see the love that went into the creation of every style. These are the clothes I want to live in.

In our first delivery for fall we have the long Savvy Zip Cardigan, long sleeve Drape Neck Tee, and Flounce Skirt - all in soft organic cotton jersey. Lastly, my favorite piece in the delivery, is the Premier Cardigan. Now I longing for sweater weather to arrive.
