I was raised in Northeast Arkansas, and as cliché as it may sound, I grew up in a 100-year-old farmhouse in the middle of a cotton field. I was always intrigued by the cotton, how it would bloom and make the whole field look like it just snowed in September. I was fascinated by the many different uses cotton had, and how frequently it was used in everyday life. However, it wasn't until I landed an internship at Good Things Boutique that I learned the importance of organically grown cotton.
After shuttering the brick-and-mortar version of Good Things, I spent time catching up with life. Now I am back building up the website and sharing some of our favorite things with you. Stay tuned for more blog entries about what makes good things so good. Thanks again for following along.
The oil cleansing method is the most effective way to rid pores of dirt and oil without stripping all the natural oils needed to maintain your skin's protective barrier. By applying an oil cleanser and wiping away with a hot washcloth, dirt and impurities are gently removed without upsetting the moisture balance of gentle facial skin.
